Jennifer Shore specializes in natural
light photography. Through her relaxed approach, she is able to
capture your child and family’s true personality and natural
expressions. Her portrait session allows freedom for children of
any age to be themselves. A session is never rushed. Family schedules
such as feeding times, naps and school are always considered, as
is lighting availability depending on time of day. Jennifer’s
attention to detail is one of the many elements that go into a natural
composition that you can treasure long into the future. Her photographs
portray the uniqueness of your child and family that is beautiful
and familiar.
Sessions
Portrait
sessions are individually tailored to your family. Rather than coming
to a studio, Jennifer will come to you. All sessions are shot on
location using the beauty of natural light. In addition to client’s
homes, Jennifer has photographed at the beach, local parks and many
other beautiful locations. Most sessions normally take 1-2 hours,
however, there is no time limit. The extra time helps Jennifer to
get to know your child and make sure they feel comfortable. The
session will be relaxed and casual with an emphasis on fun and comfort.
Please choose a time that will work well for your child. If the
session is in the house, try to choose a time of day when a room
in your house is brightly lit with sunlight.
Clothing
Simple
clothing will enhance the timeless look of your portraits. To keep
the focus on your child, try to stay away from strong patterns,
logos and/or pictures as they will distract the eye away from the
face. Classic favorites are khakis, jeans, simple dresses, bare
feet. For babies, often just a diaper and a bare belly is a great
look. If there is more than one person in the photo you do not need
to match. However, we do suggest that they wear items in the same
color tone. For outdoor sessions, please keep in mind that your
child may get dirty. Children are much more relaxed when their parents
are relaxed so try not to dress them in clothing that you will worry
about.
Referrals
Most
of Jennifer’s business results from word-of-mouth advertising.
For every new client who completes a portrait session with her that
you have referred, you will receive a complimentary 8x10 print from
your previous session (a $35.00 value) .
Availability
Please contact Jennifer to schedule your
session as far in advance as possible to assure your date. Jennifer
Shore Photography is located 20 miles north of Boston in Marblehead,
MA. If your location is beyond 40 miles of the North Shore area,
quotes will be available for travel. Jennifer is also available
nationally. Please contact her for details.
Policies
Session
Fee deposit is due at time of booking to hold your appointment.
Jennifer understands that cancellations must happen from time to
time. We just ask that you give us as much notice as possible, preferably
at least 24 hours.
**Due
to the custom nature of portraits and portrait products, refunds
are not available. Full payment is due with print order. At this
time we accept checks, cash, money orders, and paypal.
